Nirvana

This past weekend our family attended a "Lego convention" near Washington D.C. We saw exhibits of incredible Lego creations, Lego movies, a huge Lego play area and a demonstration of Lego robots in sumo-like combat. There was even a "Lego Lady" who'd come from Canada and parked her airbrush decorated VW "Lego" Beetle in the convention hall, and a display from a couple who'd had a "Lego wedding".
Of course the real entertainment for me was the sight of so many six-to-ten year old goggle-eyed boys (including my son) in a large room together at the same time. It's so easy to forget how important this all once was.
And oh, it was.
