This is a carpenter bee. For those not familiar with them, they are as large as lap dogs, buzz around like they've been chugging Red Bull through a beer bong, and their sole purpose in life seems to be drilling holes into the side of my house. They are also armor plated - I have swatted one of these monsters out of the air, stepped on it, and then watched it get up and fly away. I'm pretty sure I heard it cackling at me, too.

Carpenter Bee
This is a carpenter bee.
